ZestNote: Notes & Lists ("ZestNote", "the app") is an offline-first Android notes and checklist app published by Orbitex Solutions.
ZestNote is designed to keep your content on your device. We do not require an account, and we do not upload your note content to our servers in Version 1.
This Privacy Policy explains what information the app stores locally, what we do not collect, and how you can delete your data.

Data Stored on Your Device
In Version 1, ZestNote stores the following information locally on your Android device only:
- Text notes and checklist content you create
- Drawings saved inside notes (stored as image data within the app)
- Categories, pins, archive status, and trash items
- Appearance and layout preferences (such as theme and text size settings)
This data is saved using on-device storage (SQLite database and Android SharedPreferences). Version 1 does not create user accounts.
In Version 1, ZestNote does not include:
- Analytics or usage tracking SDKs
- Advertising SDKs
- Crash-reporting SDKs that send data to third parties
- Cloud sync or remote backup to Orbitex Solutions servers
Your note content is not transmitted to Orbitex Solutions servers. The app is designed to work offline without sending your notes to us.

This Website vs the ZestNote App
This Privacy Policy page is hosted on the Orbitex website so Google Play and users can read it in a browser.
Important: Visiting our website (orbitexaio.com) may use cookies, analytics, or advertising tags that are part of the website. The ZestNote Android app itself does not include those website trackers, ads, or analytics SDKs in Version 1.
Opening this policy URL in a browser is separate from using the app. App note data stays on your device and is not uploaded because you opened this page.
If you choose to use certain features, your device may open another app or service. These actions are started by you:
- Share: Opens the Android system share sheet so you can send note or checklist text to another app you select.
- Contact support: Opens your email app with our support address.
- Rate the app / external links: May open the Google Play Store or your browser, depending on availability.
Any data shared through these actions is handled by the app or service you choose, under that provider's privacy practices.
Version 1 is designed to avoid unnecessary Android runtime permissions. ZestNote does not request access to your contacts, location, camera, microphone, or media library for core note-taking features.
Drawings created in notes are saved inside the app's private storage area on your device.
You can remove your data at any time:
- Delete individual notes or checklists inside the app
- Empty the Trash to permanently remove deleted items
- Uninstall ZestNote from your device to remove all locally stored app data
Because Version 1 does not sync to our servers, uninstalling the app removes your notes from that device. We cannot recover uninstalled local data.
Notes are stored in the app's private storage area on Android, which other apps cannot access under normal device conditions.
Version 1 does not provide end-to-end encryption of note content. We recommend protecting your device with a screen lock and keeping your device software up to date.
ZestNote is a general productivity app and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
If you believe a child has submitted personal information to us through support email, please contact us and we will take appropriate steps to delete that correspondence.
We may update this Privacy Policy when ZestNote features change (for example, if future versions add backup, sync, or other online features). When we update this policy, we will change the "Last updated" date at the top of this page.
Continued use of the app after an update means you accept the revised policy. Material changes affecting data collection will be reflected here before or when those features launch.
